Remembering U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright

In 2021, Carter Center CEO Paige Alexander interviewed former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. She spoke about immigrating to the U.S., her time serving on President Carter’s National Security Council, and the importance of democracy. We’re resharing that interview as a tribute to a woman who was both a trailblazer and peacemaker.
