South Sudan: The Gifts of Sight

Despite profound challenges, South Sudan has persevered in providing treatment for people who are at risk of going blind from advanced cases of the neglected tropical disease trachoma. Two South Sudanese surgeons show how the nation’s health ministry, with support from The Carter Center, adapts and improvises to provide this desperately needed service.
