Israeli Fights for Human Rights of Palestinians

The Carter Center partners with Israeli human rights defenders to support their work in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory as well as amplify their voices in the United States as they work to ensure that human rights play a central role in any peace process.

Founded in 1982 by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter in partnership with Emory University, The Carter Center is committed to advancing human rights and alleviating unnecessary human suffering. The Center wages peace, fights disease, and builds hope worldwide.
