Access to Information in Africa

Participants from the Carter Center's African Regional Conference on the Right of Access to Information talk about the importance of access to information.

The Carter Center is committed to advancing the right of access to information in Africa and around the world and has held two other major conferences on the topic. The Americas Regional Conference on the Right of Access to Information was held April 2009 in Peru and the International Conference on the Right to Public Information was held in February 2008 in Atlanta.
